With roots dating back to 1901, Blurock Quarries is built on more than a century of family business, construction and quarrying experience. The quarry at its current location on Zaailaager Farm was established in 1943, operating as JW Smith & Son. In 2010, Blurock Quarries was born, marking a new chapter in the quarry’s history with James Mbongwa joining the team as a director. Today, we continue that legacy as an independent business, combining generations of experience with modern quarrying practices to supply quality aggregate to Estcourt and the surrounding areas.
